Ahead of a heavily-publicised visit to Chesham, the Prime Minister took time out of his busy schedule to give his backing to Harpenden and Berkhamsted Conservative Parliamentary candidate Nigel Gardner.
Rishi Sunak made the most of the May bank holiday sunshine to take a stroll through the new constituency and meet with supporters in the High Street.
Nigel said: “It was wonderful to have the PM join me for that most British of bank holiday traditions – a visit to Woods garden centre – before we hit the High Street for cakes at Daisy and Co.
“Walking down the High Street we met with lots of local residents keen for a selfie with Rishi – most of whom promised to vote Conservative in the forthcoming General Election!”
