Plans for 1,400 more HOUSES, 3,400 more PEOPLE and 2,000 more CARS on Tring’s green belt must be stopped says Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Harpenden & Berkhamsted, Nigel Gardner.
“Marshcroft would change the nature of Tring”, Gardner told local residents. “If it goes ahead, we will damage the social fabric of our town, cause irreversible harm to our green belt, and put an unacceptable strain on local services.”
The Marshcroft development would see 1,400 new homes built on 300 acres of green belt countryside on the eastern side of Tring. “It is our duty to protect Tring’s beautiful countryside for future generations”, Gardner said.
“Increasing Tring’s population by 30% will add huge pressure on our infrastructure and local public services”.
